Job description

ZGF is seeking an Entry Level Architect to join our team in the Seattle office. We are looking for creative, motivated and curious design talent with a passion for architecture and the built environment. We are offering a position within the Architectural Group for an individual who will work under the direction of experienced professional design staff on a diversity of project opportunities. If you have a passion and a desire to exercise your design skills, we are interested in talking with you.
As an Entry Level Architect, you will...
  • Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the design team for generating and developing design ideas.
  • Work on projects from concept design through construction administration.
  • Produce design drawings, construction documents, presentation drawings, graphic design work, and digital and physical modeling in support of Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design, as well as marketing efforts.
  • Help us tell the story of our projects through various media.
  • Work under design supervision and receive instruction and mentoring.
  • Perform fundamental architectural tasks and work collaboratively with others toward design solutions for our projects.

Qualifications:
  • Creative curiosity.
  • Basic understanding of architectural design and construction principles.
  • A strong interest in graphic storytelling.
  • A professional Architectural degree and 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with modeling in Revit.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino or other parametric design software.
  • What we do is all about design - having good communication and graphic skills along with physical and digital modeling and rendering ability is desired.

Base Salary Range:
$63,790/yr - $74,417/yr
