Job description

Join our team:

Unisource Manufacturing is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an entry-level Assembler & Warehouse Production Associate. No prior experience required, we will train the right candidate. The position will be responsible for taking bulk hose materials and cutting to size for completed hose assemblies, assembling fittings and coupling to metal hose, and pulling parts & fittings necessary for production. This is an on-site role, with a full-time schedule for Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime.

What you will do:

  • Cut, clean, crimp, cap, and assemble hoses using hands and a variety of power tools including grinders and bandsaw.
  • Buff, polish, and package fabricated hose
  • Recognize and identify different hose types, sizes, and fittings by sight and assembly requirements.
  • Prepare and label products properly, staging materials for efficient production flow.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure proper sealing, torque, and fitment before finalizing assemblies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Assist in periodic inventory counts and track material usage.
  • Participate in warehouse organization and maintaining work area orderliness at all times.
  • Follow all safety requirements, wear PPE, inspections, and safe lifting procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
  • Be capable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Capable of adapting to changes in the work environment with competing demands and unexpected task assignments
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and plan work activities and develop realistic action plans
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to respond to management direction appropriately, and solicit feedback to improve performance
  • Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to communicate and work professionally with other employees, sales, management, and outside clients
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, moving, reaching
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with changes in temperature, heat, noise, and metal materials
  • If hired, you will be required to undergo a background check and urinalysis test. We do NOT screen for Marijuana/THC, and this does not effective your possibility of employment.
