Milan, NM 87021
$1,566/Week | 36 Hours/Week
12-Week Contract | Auto Offer


70-mile rule applicable.


Pay Breakdown

  • Taxable: $432/week
  • Tax-Free Stipend: $1,134/week
  • Weekly Total: $1,566

Schedule

  • 36 hours/week guaranteed
  • 12-hour shifts - Days or Nights
  • Shift assignment based on facility needs
  • Open availability required per scheduling policy

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform basic nursing duties and follow physician orders.
  • Conduct sick call and assist physicians with examinations and treatments.
  • Administer and document medications during pill call.
  • Perform clinical procedures within LPN scope of practice.
  • Monitor and document inmate/resident conditions and behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing care.
  • Maintain medication, medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Assist with inmate/resident movement and medical escorts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure medical environment.
  • Complete required medical reports, logs, and documentation.
  • Follow facility, safety, security, and infection-control procedures.
  • Work effectively in a correctional environment with professionalism, tact, and good judgment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
  • Active LPN license in the state of employment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain open availability.
  • Comfortable working in a correctional environment.
