Job description

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support across both office and manufacturing environments, helping ensure our engineers, operators, and staff can work efficiently with minimal downtime.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, network, and user access issues across office and manufacturing environments
• Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows workstations, laptops, peripherals, and basic connectivity (VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN)
• Set up, configure, and deploy computers, printers, mobile devices, and other user equipment
• Manage user accounts, password resets, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding activities in Active Directory
• Log, track, and escalate support requests through the IT ticketing system
• Install software, perform updates, and assist with patch management
• Support manufacturing floor technology such as barcode scanners, label printers, and inspection systems
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and system records
• Follow company IT policies, procedures, and security standards
• Assist with special projects and provide general support to the IT team
Qualifications
• 0-2 years of IT support, helpdesk, internship, or related technical experience
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree, technical training, or certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with Active Directory or similar user management systems preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ERP or MES systems is a plus
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus
