Job description

Findlay is one of the largest & fastest growing automotive groups in Southwest U.S. We're seeking top Technician talent to help grow our business and keep up with the high demand. This entry level position will be responsible for oil changes, tire rotation and other light maintenance work. This could be the start of a great career in the field of automotive service.  We will provide you with hands-on training & a dedicated team of veteran Technicians who will assist you with your ramp up.

Compensation:

Hourly- $17.13 to $20.00 per hour to start

Responsibilities:

  • Check and communicate oil level to teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Complete vehicle inspection
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
  • Ensure shop cleanliness
  • Clean shop and tire area as needed
  • Driving is an essential function.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited automotive program, T-10 preferred.
  • Recent or current experience working in a dealership and or automotive repair facility.
  • Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
  • Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.

This is a safety sensitive position, subject to drug testing including for marijuana.
