Job description

Clean Harbors located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Truck-to-Truck Technician to add to their team. The Truck-to-Truck Technician performs hands-on operations of offloading box trucks and helping sort incoming loads of waste.

Shift: 1st shift- 7:00am- 3:00pm Mon-Fri. Saturdays are optional. OT as needed

Pay: $20/HR

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements;
  • Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections;
  • Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement;
  • Maintain area compliance with permit standards;
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals;
  • Keep work areas clean and organized;
  • All other duties as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • 1+Years of related experience;
  • Forklift experience preferred;
  • Ability to use computer efficiently;
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
