POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Storesight, you will be the first touchpoint between leading consumer brands and a platform that is transforming in-store execution and visibility. You will be responsible for generating high-quality sales opportunities by engaging cold prospects and marketing-qualified leads across multiple channels - phone, email, and LinkedIn - and converting interest into qualified meetings for our Account Executives.
This is a high-impact, metrics-driven role where your performance directly influences company growth, revenue, and customer acquisition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospect and book qualified meetings with CPG leaders across Sales, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and more
• Own multi-channel outbound outreach: phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Execute structured outbound campaigns and messaging sequences aligned to specific customer use cases
• Research and build target account lists and identify key buying stakeholders
• Qualify inbound leads for fit, need, and timing before booking meetings
• Accurately manage activity, lead status, and next steps in HubSpot
• Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets
• Partner closely with Account Executives to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign strategy
• Continuously test and optimize messaging, sequences, and targeting to improve conversion rates
• Develop strong product, industry, and buyer persona knowledge
• Consistently generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
• Hit or exceed monthly meeting quotaBuild a reliable pipeline engine for the Account Executives
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in conversion rates and response rates
• Be an expert in CPG buyer personas and use cases
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
• 1+ years of SDR/BDR, inside sales, or high-volume outbound sales experience preferred
• Comfortable making 50-100+ outbound touches per day
• Strong phone presence and crisp written communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time management skills
• Data-driven and motivated by goals, quotas, and earnings
• Curious, coachable, and motivated by clear goals, career experience development, and earning potential
• Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot experience a plus)
