About the Role
Ravenna is looking for a Sales Development Representative to generate pipeline and drive top of funnel growth.
This role is responsible for identifying target accounts, reaching out to prospective customers, and booking qualified meetings. You will work closely with the founders to refine our outbound motion and help build a repeatable pipeline engine.
This is a high ownership role. You will be expected to prospect consistently, test new approaches, and improve your performance over time. You will engage with buyers across IT, Security, HR, and Operations teams and help introduce Ravenna to companies that can benefit from our platform.
This is a role for people who want to become great at sales. You will be expected to improve quickly, take ownership of your results, and consistently raise your performance over time.
Responsibilities
Generate pipeline through outbound
Identify target accounts and reach out through email, calls, and other channels to create new opportunities. Maintain a high level of activity and consistently book qualified meetings.
Maintain high output and consistency
Operate with discipline across outbound channels. Top performers in this role are consistent, focused, and generate results every day.
Qualify inbound and run discovery
Respond to inbound leads, run initial qualification, and ensure a steady flow of strong opportunities into the pipeline.
Research accounts and stakeholders
Understand target companies and identify the right buyers across IT, Security, and Operations teams.
Improve messaging and outreach
Test different messaging, channels, and approaches. Learn what works and continuously improve performance.
Track performance and metrics
Manage activity in the CRM and track key metrics such as meetings booked, pipeline created, and conversion rates.
Collaborate with the team
Work closely with founders and sales to refine targeting, messaging, and overall go to market strategy.
About You

  • You are disciplined, organized, and willing to put in the work required to generate pipeline. You are comfortable with high activity and consistent outreach.
Early sales experience
  • You have one to two years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar role and have demonstrated strong performance.

  • You are clear and effective in both written and verbal communication. You can engage prospects and quickly establish credibility.
