Job Title: Metrics Business Analyst
Location: Onsite - Mayport, Florida

Position Overview

We are seeking a Metrics Business Analyst to support Client in Mayport, Florida.
The Metrics Business Analyst will support business intelligence, performance measurement, metric standardization, and accountability across squadron business operations. The successful candidate will provide analytical assessments to senior leadership and help maintain command-wide visibility into parts movement, material readiness, maintenance execution, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities• Manage, analyze, track, and publish Active Cannibalization (ACANN) metrics across the squadron.
• Monitor ACANN turnaround times and their impact on material readiness, maintenance execution, and operational availability.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop immediate and long-term process improvement recommendations for Department Heads and senior leadership.
• Build, maintain, and distribute command-level dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical products.
• Translate complex operational data into clear visualizations and executive-level presentations.
• Support business-process analysis and performance accountability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Navy stakeholders and technical personnel to improve reporting and data visibility.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, analysis, or a related field, or equivalent military/commercial experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in business management and systems analysis.
• Active Secret security clearance required on the first day of performance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency with:
• Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Microsoft Access
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft PowerPoint, including advanced presentations and senior-leadership briefings
• Microsoft Office productivity tools
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting the U.S. Navy, Department of Defense (DoD), or another federal agency.
• Experience developing operational or command-level performance dashboards.
• Experience analyzing maintenance, logistics, supply-chain, or material-readiness data.
• Familiarity with military supply and readiness environments.
Additional Requirements
The selected candidate must be able to complete required Navy/COMNAVSURFLANT annual training and comply with applicable federal workplace, safety, security, and contractor personnel requirements.
