Job description

Job Summary --
This is an entry level position in an established Family Law Firm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This is an ideal situation for a new attorney who wishes to get regular trial and litigation experience under the supervision of Senior Attorneys. This is also an excellent placement for an attorney returning to the workforce after raising children or being away from the profession. The hours are flexible with the opportunity to work remotely when not in the office.

On your first day, you will be conducting client interviews, constructing pleadings and become engaged in multiple cases. All work will be supervised, with more and more independent responsibility being given with experience. Our cases include divorce, child custody, grandparents' rights, adoption, protection from abuse, support, criminal, wills and trusts and mental health related matters.

The atmosphere in our office is informal and family-friendly. At all points in the interview, retention, and litigation process, our goal is to encourage our clients to be participatory, knowledgeable, and empowered to encounter each decision that arises. We are accessible, available to our clients outside of office hours, and, if hired, you will become part of the extended family of clients, support people, peer-counselors, and  mental health support.

We receive significant referrals from agencies which support people in abusive relationships. Many of our clients are in transition, leaving or escaping from toxic relationships with their children. Any candidate applying should be comfortable consulting in such situations.
