Wieland is hiring an Accounts Payable Processor. The Accounts Payable Processor is an entry-level position responsible for high-volume invoice entry and validation using SAP and the Henrichsen OCR capture tool. This role focuses on accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring proper workflow routing, and supporting daily operational needs across multiple business units. This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Processor Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices through Henrichsen OCR and validate data before posting into SAP.
  • Review and correct OCR exceptions, including missing fields, failed matches, and routing errors.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Process invoices received through shared A/P email inboxes and incoming mail.
  • Maintain daily processing targets.
  • Assist with identification of unmatched invoices; escalate issues for resolution.
  • Participate with continuous improvement initiatives related to OCR accuracy, processing speed, and data quality.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
  • Does not process or release payments.

Accounts Payable Processor Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of accounting or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable with data entry, invoice processing, and digital workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high processing volumes.
  • Effective communication and willingness to ask questions and learn.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
