Job Description:

CSI is seeking an entry-level Accounting Support Specialist to support our accounting team in Paducah, KY. This position plays a key role in daily administrative and financial operations, including check processing, payment entry, and general clerical support. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a foundation in accounting and finance, with opportunities for growth into roles such as Billing or Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, including accounts payable documentation

  • Assist with cash receipts processing and serve as backup support for check deposits

  • Prepare and process remote check deposits

  • Enter payments and financial data into Workday

  • Support expense report processing and general administrative tasks for the accounting team

  • Record and maintain financial transactions and update customer account information

  • Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve payment-related inquiries

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and account reconciliation tasks

  • Generate reports and maintain accurate financial records

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or internship experience (administrative or accounting preferred)

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent education/training)

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (required)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Workday experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided)

Work Environment
