Position Summary:
Our Client Accounting Services department continues to grow and is looking to add a Staff Accountant to the team! This team works hand in hand to provide high level services to small businesses and select individual clients. We offer lifestyle management services tailored to support clients' needs which can include bill pay, balance sheet preparations, reconciliation of the general ledger, prepare and analyze financial statements, and other custom services. These responsibilities must be conducted in accordance with industry best practices and applicable laws and regulations.
In this role, you are able to experience two different sectors: public accounting and the private sector. Our Staff Accountants are highly trusted colleagues who will work directly with the owners and leaders of companies in all industries. We are seeking candidates with an interest in managing multiple clients, is highly organized with a growth mindset, and an expert multi-tasker.
Primary Responsibilities
As an Associate your responsibilities would include supporting a client-facing team with the following activities:
  • Perform administrative and operational duties, such as transferring funds, updating client and account information, bill pay, and bank account reconciliation
  • Client specific reporting needs, which could include monthly financial statements and/or other misc. management reports
  • Document management for all bill-pay and wealth planning clients in accordance with IRS requirements
  • Regular interaction with third party advisors and vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal collaboration and team skills, a must
  • Comfort with accounting software important
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0-3 years experience in financial services preferred, but not required
  • Ability to simultaneously work with multiple clients while providing a consistent client experience
  • Regular interaction with third party advisors and vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal collaboration and team skills, a must
  • Comfort with accounting/bookkeeping software important
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, GAAP, and Financial Accounting Standards
  • Takes pride in satisfying client expectations by truly understanding the client and creating meaningful client experiences
  • Thoroughness when accomplishing tasks, no matter how small, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Must possess a passion for learning and a desire to continuously improve
