They are responsible for providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions under the supervision of experienced ICU nurses and physicians. Their duties include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with complex procedures. Familiarity with ICU monitoring systems, ventilators, infusion pumps, and electronic health record (EHR) software is essential. Strong communication, resilience under pressure, and attention to detail help you provide high-quality care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring patient safety and delivering timely, effective interventions in the demanding ICU environment.
