Job description

WHO YOU ARE:
Seeking an IT professional to design, develop and support enterprise-grade document processing solutions, while adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards. This role focuses on developing document-intensive workflows using intelligent capture technologies, enabling accurate data extraction, classification, and integration with downstream business systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong development experience in C#/.Net along with expertise in enterprise content repositories such as IBM FileNet for secure document storage, retrieval and lifecycle management. Must have the ability to communicate in a professional, customer-focused manner.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Software Engineer (Programmer IV) performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming and full lifecycle software development. Responsibilities involve driving projects from conception to completion through the analysis, design, and documentation of logical, structured programs and systems. The objective is to automate processes, deliver innovative IT solutions for evolving mission-critical business systems, and improve the efficiency of existing systems. Key activities include planning, design, problem-solving, debugging, coding, testing, implementation, and production support. Work is performed under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Maintains a reliable predictable work schedule. May provide guidance or oversee the work of others. May be called upon to work outside of normal business hours to complete urgent assignments or troubleshoot critical issues.


YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Design, configure, and implement solutions using OpenText Intelligent Capture / IDP platforms
-Develop and maintain scan jobs and batch processing rules
-Develop document classification, data extraction, and validation models for structured and unstructured content
-Build and maintain capture workflows, including ingestion, routing, and exception handling
-Optimize OCR and document processing accuracy
-Develop custom components, services, and integrations using C#/.NET
-Integrate capture solutions with enterprise systems, including ECM platforms such as IBM FileNet
-Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot production issues
-Lead presentations, or system demonstrations
-Support production systems, upgrades, and continuous improvements
-Troubleshoot batch processing errors, performance issues and data inconsistencies
-Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides
-Ensure that all procedures and specifications related to disaster recovery efforts are properly maintained
-Assist in creation of purchase orders, contracts (statement of work) associated with projects assigned to the (Business Systems Integration) BSI team
-Collaborate with and customers to translate requirements into technical workflows
-Cultivate a relationship with customers based on competency, trust, and delivering tangible results to business needs
-Promote an image of IT excellence
-Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures including IT Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that govern TWC IT
-Perform other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations
