Job description

Barrell Plumbing & Heating is currently hiring for a full-time Entry-Level HVAC Technician to improve their abilities while assisting our experienced technicians in the greater Cambridge, Massachusetts area. This entry-level position earns a competitive wage of up to $28/hour, depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY
This full-time position typically works M-F, 7 AM - 3 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation.
As an Entry-Level HVAC Technician, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Barrell Plumbing & Heating. You go out in the field and assist our experienced technicians. As you assist them and help increase their efficiency, they mentor and train you in this skilled trade. You learn everything from how to talk with customers to how to install and maintain heating and air conditioning systems. You also help keep trucks, tools, and job sites clean and organized.
You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your knowledge and skills. You are excited to be part of our team and can't wait to advance in this stable, well-paid skilled trade!
