Summary:

As an HVAC Technician working in the HomeTown system, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various air quality systems. The main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services, and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify HVAC system issues and determine appropriate solutions.

  • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot HVAC system problems on-site.

  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations performed.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems. Install and connect HVAC equipment, including ductwork, vents, and piping.

  • Sales of IAQ products, including UV lights, Air Scrubbers and purifiers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.

  • EPA Certification

  • Proficient in performing mechanical repairs and welding tasks.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
