Overview and Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for supporting Human Resources and Payroll Administrative functions.
  • HYBRID SCHEDULE (Mon-Wed In-Office and Thurs-Fri Work From Home)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completes Employment Verifications
  • Creates and tracks adherence to human resources training modules including employment law, reasonable suspicion, and other required trainings
  • Handles a variety of clerical duties to include Employee Relations folders and Termination documents online retention system
  • Handles internal on-boarding transfer processes for client group
  • Responds to Unemployment Claims
  • Reviews completed annual performance evaluations from client group
  • Sends weekly separation notices
  • Spends 25% of time, or two days per week processing company-wide payroll
  • Supports company wide recognition program
  • Supports talent management process
  • Supports the employee relations function including answering and responding to the employee hot line
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • One year of Human Resources and Payroll experience, required or educational equivalent.

Preferred Education and/or Experience
  • Experience with employment-related laws and regulations, preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems, preferred
  • Three years of related work experience, preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
