About the position
No prior surveying experience? No problem. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates eager to learn and grow in the field. The individual in this role operates basic surveying equipment under supervision, executes simple calculations, and assists in collecting survey data. Additionally, they contribute to the maintenance of survey equipment while ensuring the accuracy and meticulous organization of field notes and records. The Survey Technician collaborates closely with other members of the survey team including their Crew Chief, engaging in on-the-job learning experiences aimed at cultivating the essential skills and knowledge required for progression within the surveying field.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of survey equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to lift 50lb.
  • Willingness to work outdoors.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime.
  • Valid drivers license with minimum 5 years driving experience and clean driving record.
