Job description

Overview

Become a HRIS Specialist with Agape Care Group!

Are you an HRIS professional who knows UKG Pro inside and out?

We’re looking for an HRIS Specialist – UKG Pro to take a hands-on role in managing, building, configuring, and optimizing our HR technology environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who doesn’t simply use an HRIS, but understands how to build it, configure it, improve it, troubleshoot it, and make it work better for the organization. Prior, hands-on UKG Pro experience is highly important for this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record working directly in UKG Pro, including system configuration, workflows, business processes, reporting, security, data management, integrations, and/or implementation. If you enjoy turning HR requirements into smart system solutions—and want to play a key role in developing a scalable, efficient UKG Pro environment—we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll DoOwn & Build the UKG Pro Environment
  • Serve as a key administrator and subject-matter expert for UKG Pro.
  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro modules, workflows, business processes, permissions, and system settings.
  • Help build out and continuously enhance the organization’s UKG Pro HRIS, translating HR and business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Evaluate existing configurations and identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve automation, and enhance the employee and HR user experience.
  • Support the design and implementation of new UKG Pro functionality, features, and processes.
  • Participate in system implementations, migrations, upgrades, patches, testing, and enhancements.
Manage HR Data & System Integrity
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and reliable employee data within UKG Pro.
  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, job changes, organizational changes, and terminations.
  • Monitor data integrity and identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure system access, security, and permissions align with organizational policies and data privacy requirements.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
  • Build, maintain, and optimize UKG Pro reports, dashboards, and data outputs.
  • Develop reporting solutions for headcount, turnover, workforce trends, compliance, and other business needs.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Use Excel and other analytical tools to validate, manipulate, and analyze HR data.
Partner Across the Organization
  • Serve as a trusted resource for HRIS-related questions, troubleshooting, and system support.
  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow and effective system integrations.
  • Translate business and HR requirements into practical UKG Pro solutions.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR teams and end users on UKG Pro functionality and best practices.
  • Document system configurations, processes, procedures, and controls.
Continuously Improve
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve HR technology efficiency.
  • Stay current on UKG Pro capabilities, system updates, and emerging HR technology best practices.
  • Help ensure the HRIS evolves with the organization’s changing needs.
What We’re Looking For

The most important qualification is meaningful, hands-on UKG Pro experience. We’re particularly interested in candidates who have personally configured, built, supported, or implemented UKG Pro, rather than candidates whose experience has been limited to simply entering or retrieving employee information.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • 2+ years of HRIS experience, with significant hands-on UKG Pro experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building out, configuring, or optimizing UKG Pro.
  • Experience with UKG Pro workflows, business processes, security/permissions, reporting, and system administration.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, employee changes, benefits, payroll, and terminations.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, migrations, enhancements, or major system projects.
  • Strong data management, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to understand complex HR processes and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Nice to Have
  • UKG Pro system-specific certifications or formal training.
  • Experience with UKG Pro integrations and APIs.
  • Experience supporting data integrations between HR, payroll, benefits, finance, or other business systems.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting/analytics platforms.
  • Experience leading or supporting an HRIS implementation or migration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Why This Role Matters

HR technology is more than a system—it’s the foundation for how employee information moves through the organization and how HR delivers for the business. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and strengthen our UKG Pro environment, improve processes, increase data integrity, enable better reporting, and help create a more seamless experience for HR teams and employees. If you’re the kind of HRIS professional who likes to get under the hood of UKG Pro, solve complex system challenges, and build solutions rather than simply maintain them, this could be the opportunity for you.

When you join our team, you’ll have access to a wide range of valuable benefits, including:

  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Immediate Access to Paid Time Off
  • Employee Referral Program Bonus Eligibility
  • Matching 401K
  • Annual Merit Increases
  • Years of Service Award Bonuses
  • Financial and Legal Assistance Program
  • Mental Health and Counseling Programs
  • Dental and Orthodontic Coverage
  • Vision Insurance
  • Health Care with Low Premiums
  • $500 Matching Health Savings Account
  • Short-term and Long-term Disability
  • Fertility Assistance Program
