We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HRIS Analyst to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Albany International's Human Resources Information Systems, including SAP SuccessFactors. Reporting to the Director of HR Operations & Technology and working closely with the Senior HRIS Analyst, this role serves as a key resource for HRIS support, end-user training, system configuration, testing, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a passion for delivering exceptional user support, and experience working with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms. This position plays an important role in ensuring data integrity, supporting system enhancements, maintaining documentation, and helping employees and HR teams effectively utilize HR technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Support & End User Assistance
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS related questions, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, escalating complex matters to the Senior HRIS Specialist or software vendors as appropriate.
  • Monitor and track HRIS support requests to ensure timely resolution and positive user experiences.
  • Assist employees, managers, and HR team members with system navigation, transactions, and reporting needs.

Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Develop, maintain, and update HRIS procedures, process documentation, and user guides.
  • Create clear and effective training materials for employees, managers, and HR users.
  • Ensure documentation reflects current system functionality, business processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the development of internal HRIS standards and best practices.

Testing & System Enhancements
  • Participate in testing activities related to system upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and vendor releases.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, document results, and identify defects or process impacts.
  • Validate system functionality and data integrity before deployment into production environments.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback from stakeholders.

Vendor & Issue Management
  • Partner with HRIS vendors to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Monitor vendor support tickets and track progress through resolution.
  • Assist in system configuration including management of foundational objects, business rules, integrations, and role-based permissions.
  • Partner with vendor partners on design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
  • Responsible for Tier II end user support, conducting troubleshooting, documenting issue resolution, and communicating timely updates.

Training & Adoption
  • Deliver HRIS training to end users, managers, and employees.
  • Support new system rollouts and adoption initiatives through training sessions and communication materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and increase system utilization.
  • Promote best practices and consistent use of HR technology across the organization.

Data Integrity & Compliance
  • Assist with data audits and validation activities to maintain system accuracy.
  • Support maintenance of organizational structures, employee data, and system security roles following established procedures.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with privacy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure data and processes comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Senior HRIS Analyst, HR Operations, Payroll, IT, and other business stakeholders to support HR technology initiatives.
  • Provide support for HR system projects and continuous improvement efforts as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with additional responsibilities that support the HR Operations & Technology team's objectives.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience with HRIS Systems, SuccessFactors Preferred

Required Skills:
  • Expert skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: formulas and functions (VLOOKUP), macro workbooks, pivot tables, and data queries).
