HR Administrator / Recruiting Coordinator
Position Summary
The HR Administrator / Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support across the Human Resources function while coordinating recruiting activities from requisition through onboarding. This role is responsible for maintaining HR records, supporting HR operations, ensuring an exceptional candidate and employee experience, and assisting with compliance and day-to-day HR administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer letters, and onboarding.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Process new hires, employee status changes, and terminations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, payroll support, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Respond to employee and manager HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare HR reports, employment documentation, and other administrative records.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, compliance training, and special HR projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 2 or more years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or an HR Coordinator/Administrator role.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS preferred.
