Description:What You'll Do

As our HR Assistant, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to support employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering bi-weekly payroll through Paylocity and ensuring payroll accuracy
  • Managing employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), open enrollment, and employee education
  • Recruiting and onboarding employees across multiple departments and locations
  • Maintaining HRIS data integrity and employee records
  • Administering leave programs, including FMLA and other protected leaves
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Supporting HR audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives
  • Helping foster employee engagement through company events and employee-led programs
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and support organizational growth

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience
  • 1-3 years of payroll administration experience
  • Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience is a plus)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
