Job description

Position Summary

The Assistant Account Manager is an entry-level, training-focused role designed to support the Commercial Lines team. This position provides hands-on experience and development opportunities, with a typical progression toward an Account Manager or Internal Service Center role.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Support Account Managers with daily service and administrative tasks
  • Process basic Certificates of Insurance
  • Submit simple policy changes and process endorsements
  • Assist with limited customer service inquiries
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the agency system
  • Shadow team members to build knowledge and skills
  • Complete scanning, documentation, and clean-up projects
  • Review renewal spreadsheets and assist with documentation processing
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and related materials
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned
  • Primarily non-client-facing responsibilities while in training
  • Learn and navigate the Agency Management System (AMS)
