Job description

Job Summary:
CACI International Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Data Specialist to support the Interoperability Analysis Branch. The role involves conducting data processing, validation, and event reconstruction of tactical datasets, ensuring data integrity and supporting analytical objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Support both land-based testing and fleet exercises by managing and processing of large tactical datasets, using NSWC Corona PA analysis tools
• Data cleaning, validation, and event reconstruction or track association to prepare datasets for thorough analysis.
• Work closely with the Interoperability Analysis team and must be proficient in troubleshooting data processing and event reconstruction challenges to maintain data integrity and support analytical objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience in data processing, cleaning, and validating large and complex datasets
• Solid understanding of data management and analytical principles
• Strong ability to clearly communicate technical findings to diverse audiences
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving software tool issues
• Expertise in data characterization techniques
• Demonstrated capability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, macros, pivot tables, and managing intricate datasets
• Competence in event reconstruction and/or track association using multiple system data sources
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines under aggressive testing schedules
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
• Must be willing to work on site in Norco CA
Preferred:
• Foundational knowledge of tactical data links (TDL), including Link 16
• US Navy Knowledge of Combat Systems (ET, FC, OS, IT, etc.)
