The Junior Mechanic supports the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Rolls-Royce M250 helicopter engines by assisting with the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of engine components. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.

You will be working under the direct supervision of experienced technicians while training and developing the essential skills required to perform maintenance and overhaul tasks in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Prior hands-on mechanical experience is a plus, but not required. This role offers a structured learning environment with opportunities for long-term career development in aviation maintenance.

ย JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ย Essential Job Functions:

  • Read and follow instructions from manuals and bulletins to repair or replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Use hand tools and test equipment to complete repairs and installations.
  • Perform basic testing on helicopter engine components.
  • Work hands-on with Rolls-Royce M250 engines.
  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble engines and accessories.

ย Marginal Job Functions:

  • Basic office procedures as needed.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain good communication with team members.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Will participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices and compliance.
  • Will participate in safety activities including the following: immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents/injuries.
  • Will follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance and equipment operation requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), hand-eye coordination, and repetitive hand motion..

Equipment Operated: Hand tools, basic test equipment, and standard shop equipment.

Work Location: Keystone Turbine Services โ€“ Coatesville, PA. Work is performed indoors in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Protective Equipment Required:ย  Required personal protective equipment will be provided.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to cleaning and repair materials per MSDS.
