Position Summary
Haven of Care HomeHealth is seeking an experienced and motivated Home Health Administrator to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing home health agency. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, quality patient care, staff management, business development, and financial performance.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, home health experience, and a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, state licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
  • Direct and oversee daily agency operations.
  • Ensure the agency maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Director of Nursing to achieve organizational goals.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, Medicaid requirements, CHAP standards, and Indiana Department of Health regulations.
  • Ensure survey readiness and coordinate responses to regulatory audits.
  • Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities.
  • Monitor personnel files, training requirements, and credential compliance.
Financial & Business Management
  • Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Support billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
Staffing & Human Resources
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain qualified staff.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews.
Clinical & Administrative Oversight
  • Ensure timely admissions, physician orders, care plan updates, and documentation completion.
  • Support Medicaid Prior Authorization (PA) and payer credentialing processes.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum two (2) years of healthcare management experience.
  • Knowledge of home health regulations and operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.
Preferred
  • Home Health Administrator experience.
  • Medicare and Medicaid Home Health experience.
  • CHAP, ACHC, or Joint Commission survey experience.
  • Indiana Home Health regulatory knowledge.
