About this role
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Resident Care Aid to work in a correctional facility located in Jackson, MI. The Resident Care Aide (RCA) provides basic patient care and support services to incarcerated individuals within a correctional healthcare environment. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the RCA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient well-being, maintains a safe and secure environment, and supports healthcare operations while adhering to facility security procedures and regulations.
Pay Rate: $15.50/hr
Location: Jackson, MI
Shift: 0600-1830 & 1800-0630
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care, behavioral health, residential care, or correctional healthcare preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check, security clearance, and any facility-specific requirements.
