The Health Data Analyst will support Health Services within the Disney Experiences segment and be responsible for supporting and implementing health technology systems, as well as summarizing and analyzing data from multiple health systems.

As the Health Data Analyst, you will report to the Manager, Health Systems and Metrics.

This is a Project Hire/Internal Assignment (IA) with no guarantee of permanent placement with an estimated end date of 3/27/2027.
You Will/Responsibilities

  • Application support for electronic medical record system
    • User account management
    • Application governance with oversight of all operating guidelines
    • Application configuration to support business needs
  • Provide support for technology and systems for Health Services, with a focus on Disney Cruise Line applications and technology
  • Perform the collection and analysis of data, by using observations, interviews, and surveys
  • Produce visuals to effectively communicate study findings to business leaders
  • Complete Daily, Weekly, and Quarterly system audits/reporting
  • Create reporting and financial models
  • Contribute to the planning of detailed studies of population health issues to discover ways to prevent them and evaluate effectiveness of intervention
  • Provide contributions to health programs by participating in program planning, monitoring program progress, and doing data analysis
  • Provide expertise in the design, management and evaluation of study protocols and health status questionnaires, sample selection, and analysis
  • Conduct research to develop methodologies, instrumentation and procedures for study design, analyzing data and presenting findings
  • Provide useful data and consultation to internal and external parties
  • Participate in broad-scale interdisciplinary projects over extended timeframes
  • Support strategic initiatives for health
  • Establish positive relationships with other cast members and stakeholders
  • Ensure continuous improvement on all facet projects through innovation, and meeting timelines and benchmarks

You Will Have/Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency with systems and tools such as MySQL, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access), as well as analytical and visualization platforms like Tableau and EpiInfo
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple departments and business units
  • Flexible and able to consistently meet project deadlines
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in health or technology
  • Previous experience with electronic health records or health applications

The hiring range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, FL is $75,700 - $101,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
