We are hiring a full-time Activities Assistant to join our long-term care team
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an entry-level healthcare job or a career in senior care, recreation therapy, or nursing home activities.
You'll help create engaging programs that improve residents' quality of life, social engagement, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily activities programs in a nursing home / senior living setting
  • Lead and support group activities, games, crafts, music, and events
  • Provide one-on-one engagement for residents
  • Encourage participation in recreational and therapeutic activities
  • Support activity planning and documentation
  • Help coordinate holiday events, outings, and social programs
  • Work with the care team to support resident-centered care plans

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or senior living is a plus
