About The Opportunity
Schedule and purchase materials to support production schedules while maximizing plant efficiencies and profitability and meeting established customer service levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and control appropriate levels of inventory to support production, including cycle count program.
2. Initiate, review, and process purchase requisitions.
3. Coordinate with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
4. Review and manage change requests from customers, plants, and suppliers; reschedule as necessary.
5. Develop and maintain all master data related to planning, such as safety stock, lead times and lot size.
6. Support inventory management directives.
7. Other duties as assigned.
