Job description

Our Government & Public Services practice helps government agencies and public sector organizations address complex operational challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes. As part of this work, the Project Management Consultant supports site implementation activities that help teams stay organized, meet project milestones, and maintain accurate project records. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate multiple administrative and project support activities in a fast-paced environment.
Work you'll do
As a Site Analyst on the Operations Transformation team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day site implementation activities and helping project teams maintain schedules, documentation, and task tracking.
  • Coordinate recurring client and internal meetings, including scheduling, agenda support, note capture, and follow-up tracking
  • Maintain site schedules, implementation trackers, logs, and project documentation to support timely execution
  • Update Jira tasks with status, owners, due dates, and supporting details based on project direction
  • Support preparation, submission, and tracking of VARs and other implementation-related administrative actions
  • Assist with procurement coordination and other project support activities, escalating blockers and risks as needed

The team
Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice serves federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions. Within GPS, the Operations Transformation offering supports clients through business process improvement, operating model design, and implementation-focused project delivery. Teams work closely with clients to help modernize operations, improve execution, and deliver mission-driven results.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years' coordinating schedules, meetings, trackers, or project documentation
  • Experience using task tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the role
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting site implementation, deployment, or project coordination activities
  • Experience supporting procurement actions, vendor coordination, or purchase request tracking
  • Experience scheduling recurring meetings, documenting action items, and monitoring follow-up items
  • Experience maintaining implementation logs, trackers, templates, or project records
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
