Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. YOUR LIFE AS A GOLF COURSE ATTENDANT
This full-time entry-level customer service position works a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts typically range from 6 to 8 hours.
As a full-time entry-level Golf Course Attendant, you are responsible for delivering first-class service to our guests out on the golf course. You clean golf carts and member-stored clubs according to our high-quality standards. Maintaining an organized appearance around our facility, you monitor the cart staging area as well as clear and reset the driving range stations. Whenever a guest comes to you with a comment or complaint, you report it to management in a timely manner to help find a solution.
In addition, you maintain a working knowledge about the game of golf in order to better assist our guests. You participate in staff meetings and training as necessary to stay up to date on important information related to our country club. Being part of a team that loves golf and helping people as much as you do brings you great fulfillment and encourages you to put forth your best effort each day!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of golf operations and the hospitality industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
