American Structurepoint's Utility Infrastructure Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Indianapolis, IN! In this role, you'll work on utility projects, including water and stormwater systems, completing tasks such as design work, calculations, and field visits. You'll support both office tasks and construction activities in the field.

Responsibilities
What you will do:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and City of Indianapolis staff to research data and records related to regulatory compliance
  • Utilize GIS software, client databases, and historic files to support project documentation and decision-making
  • Gain firsthand experience in a client-facing consulting environment, learning how public infrastructure projects are managed and maintained
  • Assist in preparing technical documents, including permit applications, design drawings, inspection records, and supporting exhibits
  • Other tasks as needed to support the team

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field with a focus on civil infrastructure
  • Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites
  • Motivated and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges
