The Electrical Designer - Level 1 position is an entry level Designer position, responsible for learning and performing basic electrical design related tasks under the direct guidance of upper level Electrical Design/ Engineering staff, as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
or
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 years electrical experience, and general background and/or interest in learning and applying Electrical design principles
or
Education: Journeyman Electricians License, combined with demonstrated design aptitude

Essential Functions
  • Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation of electrical designs for power, lighting, and low voltage electrical system installations.
  • Interacts with Engineering, Design and CAD support staff on a daily basis.
  • Checks CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
  • Consistently follows Faith Technologies established design standards.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
