Entry level game development jobs are positions designed for individuals who are new to the game industry and often require little to no prior professional experience. These roles typically include positions such as junior programmer, QA tester, game artist, or production assistant. Entry-level employees work on small tasks within a larger development team, helping them gain practical skills while contributing to the creation of video games. These jobs often require knowledge of basic programming, art, or design tools, and a passion for gaming.

To thrive as an Entry Level Game Developer, you need a solid grasp of programming fundamentals, often with a degree in computer science or a related field, and familiarity with game design principles. Proficiency in game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, and knowledge of languages such as C# or C++, are typically required, along with any relevant certifications or portfolio projects. Staying proactive in learning, seeking mentorship from experienced colleagues, and communicating openly can help overcome these hurdles. Embracing feedback and focusing on continuous improvement are key strategies for success in the early stages of a game development career.

Job description

Description

Team: Ramsey Trusted

Please note that applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Location: Franklin, TN—on-site, relocation assistance available, flexible schedules available

A Little Bit About Us: You might know us from our founder and CEO, Dave Ramsey, who’s given no-nonsense money advice on the radio since 1992. Three decades later, Ramsey Solutions is a household name in personal finance, with a mission to change the toxic money culture for good.

Our Mission: Ramsey Solutions provides biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment that give HOPE to everyone in every walk of life.

Here’s a Taste of Our Benefits:
  • Health insurance (includes plans eligible for an HSA—with a company match up to $500!)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% match/company contribution
  • Annual wellness, counseling and grocery membership reimbursement
  • On-campus cafe with subsidized pricing for breakfast, lunch and coffee bar
  • Dependent care FSA
  • Tons of cultural activities, like weekly devotional, leadership development courses, Battle of the Bands, and one epic Christmas party!
Where and How You’d Work:
Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That’s why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up.

While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).

What You’d Do in This Role:
As a Sales Representative for Ramsey Trusted, you will be responsible for driving consistent results while protecting the integrity of the Ramsey Trusted brand.  You'll compete at a high level, maintain a disciplined and accurate pipeline, and operate as a trusted "gatekeeper" who upholds standards and preserves trust with every interaction.
This role requires grit, resilience, and the ability to grind through the work daily.  You'll proactively own your personal development, refine your sales craft, and contribute meaningfully to a strong, low-drama team culture.  Success in this seat means balancing competitive drive with high people smarts and deep alignment with Ramsey's mission and values.

You’re Probably a Match If:
  • Bring 1-2+ years of professional sales or customer-facing experience, ideally in a disciplined or performance-driven environment
  • Demonstrate grit, resilience, and the ability to push through challenges without losing focus
  • Have strong emotional intelligence and "people smarts," building trust quickly and navigating objections effectively
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast with disciplined CRM usage
  • Process working knowledge of Ramsey principles and align deeply with our mission (Ramsey knowledge is a strong plus)
  • Thrive in structured, high-accountability environments with clear expectations
  • Value low drama, high integrity, and team-first collaboration
  • Have a background that reflects discipline (athletics, military, structured academic programs, etc.)
What Winning Looks Like:
  • Consistently complete 50+ outbound calls per day with professionalism and purpose
  • Qualify prospects and schedule high-quality sales conversations for Account Executives
  • Clearly communicate the value of Ramsey's programs and solutions
  • Maintain accurate, detailed notes and activity tracking in CRM systems
  • Effectively address questions and objections with confidence and empathy
  • Meet or exceed individual performance expectations while contributing positively to team culture
Other Stuff to Know:
We’re looking for people who are passionate about our mission. This isn’t just a J-O-B. We experience resistance every day because what we believe is absolutely countercultural. We actually hate debt. We actually cut up our credit cards . . . like, for real. Some of us are still fighting our way out of debt, but we aren’t going back. If you don’t know much about Ramsey Solutions and our founder, Dave Ramsey, we encourage you to download the Ramsey Network mobile app and consume our content.

If Ramsey Solutions sounds like a workplace where you can get excited about Mondays, apply today. We can’t wait to hear from you!
