Interior Designer - Contract Furniture - Gaithersburg, MD | Piscataway, NJ
Our client is an award winning, fully established Contract furniture dealership.

Job Description

Duties:
Work within all stages of projects including marketing, design development, client consultation, site verification, programming/project analysis, space planning, FF&E selection and specification, presentation & finish boards, budget/proposals, construction documents, project closeout
-Coordinate product and drawings for National and international furniture reconfigurations, relocations and new buildings. Work directly with internal facilities team.
-Inventory, designed with, and allocated the use of existing furniture in order to provide cost savings solutions.
- Work with facilities and personal to create a new and updated typicals for multiple levels within the typical standards of large companies
-Developed construction documents consisting of individual panel, power, elevation, and component plans to ensure accurate and timely Installations.
-Create furniture typicals, floor plans and specifications for bid packages of many sizes, including GSA contracts, hospitality, healthcare, higher education, and corporate
