Full-Stack Software Developer (Back-end focused)
Columbia, MD
Description:
This role will be on a fast-moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several UIs. Project management is done using feature driven development. The team is highly collaborative, and engineers are encouraged to help drive system design. The candidate will be working with mission very closely and interacting with customers daily.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Java microservice web applications.โ€ข
  • Work closely with tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap
  • Resolve challenging software engineering design problems.
  • Interact with customer to resolve issues and propose new features.
  • Support testing and deployment of production applications.
Skills Requirements:
  • Experience with design, debugging, and problem-solving with Java.
  • RESTful web application experience.
    Spring Boot experience.
  • Interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology.
  • Automated testing.
