Job description

Seaport Global seeks a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, along with hands‑on experience building modern, complex systems. The role suits someone passionate about writing clear, efficient, and maintainable code using the latest tools and development practices. As an early hire in a new, fast‑growing business, the candidate will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact and experience rapid professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop core components of the trading system, including market gateways and data feed handlers
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of trading logic
  • Support and maintain production systems to ensure reliability and performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science from a leading university
  • Proven experience writing high‑quality code in Java, Kotlin, or Python
  • Familiarity with modern development environments, including automated workflows and cloud deployment
  • Experience using modern coding assistants and developer tools
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and proactively
