Job Requirements
Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 hourly
As a Spa receptionist here at Turning Stone Resort Casino, you will provide exceptional services at either of our stunning locations; Ahsi Spa or our Award-Winning Skana day spa by ensuring phone calls are answered in a timely manner at the front desk. Also, accurately makes reservations for spa using appropriate tracking system and general knowledge of all spa products, services and appointment availability.
What you will do as a Spa Receptionist:
  • Ensure phone calls are answered in a timely manner and by the established phone procedures and script.
  • Always being polite when speaking to guests on the telephone and at the front desk.
  • Accurately makes reservations for spa using the appropriate tracking system. Inputs all guest information efficiently and with minimal errors.
  • Maintains a general knowledge of all spa products, services and appointment availability.
  • Maintains full knowledge of all current and upcoming Turning Stone events and promotions and advises guests accurately.
  • Provides appointment information to guests in a polite and courteous manner..
  • Consistently encourages retail products and spa/salon services.
  • Promptly greets guests entering reception area. Strictly monitors access to restricted areas.
  • Accurately handles all cash transactions, uses correct server numbers and follows opening and closing procedures.
  • Handles all money according to Turning Stone standards.
  • Maintains Forbes Standards as it pertains to guest service, phone etiquette, and front desk interactions.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Spa Receptionist, you'll need:
  • Professional demeanor and ability to dress appropriately to grooming standards.
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • One-year previous receptionist experience.
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • To withstand heat up to 80 degrees for an 8-hour shift; fireplace utilized (Skana).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language; must continuously communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy.
  • Written communication skills: ability to read and understand information and records and complete standard forms.
  • Previous computer experience: computer system is utilized to sell spa packages and appointments; Micros and Spa Concepts.
  • Mathematical ability; must be able to accurately account for cash drawer.
  • Ability to multitask essential; multi-phone line, guest interaction.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 11-20 pounds.
