Position Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive pipeline growth and revenue opportunities through targeted prospecting and lead qualification. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients while representing QBS’s value proposition with professionalism and enthusiasm.

This role is ideal for candidates with little to no prior sales experience but interested in starting their career in B2B Sales – if you are coachable, driven to learn, and excited about making an impact, we encourage you to apply. The BDR will gain hands‑on experience in prospecting, lead qualification, and building relationships with decision‑makers, with guidance and mentorship from our sales team.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and engage prospective clients through research and outreach
  • Build relationships with decision‑makers and uncover opportunities aligned with Safety‑Care’s mission
  • Maintain consistent follow‑up to advance opportunities
  • Qualify leads to ensure they meet internal standards and move through the sales pipeline
  • Schedule and support meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team
  • Maintain accurate and timely activity records in the CRM
  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date prospect records to support pipeline visibility and reporting
  • Leverage CRM data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to continuously improve messaging, targeting, and processes
  • Participate in team meetings and knowledge‑sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement in prospecting strategies and sales processes

  • High‑volume prospecting results in a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Scheduled meetings consistently meet quality standards and conversion targets
  • Leads are accurately logged, tracked, and managed in the CRM with timely follow‑up
  • Key performance metrics (e.g., number of qualified leads, meetings scheduled, pipeline contribution) are consistently met or exceeded
  • Feedback is actively applied, resulting in measurable improvement in outreach effectiveness
  • Maintains resilience, professionalism, and energy under rejection or challenging conditions

Compensation
  • $60,000 Base + $25k variable compensation (OTE ~$60,000-$85,000)
