Compensation: $18.75 to $28.13 per hour. (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)

  • Perform all aspects of first-level patient care including promoting hygiene and mobility
  • Measure and record patients' vitals such as temperature and blood pressure
  • Responds to patient/family needs and requests
  • May assist and support physicians/nurses during routine procedures and treatments
  • Report all observations, changes in patient condition to responsible RN for timely, appropriate evaluation and response
  • Prepare hospital rooms
  • Change patients' bed sheets, pillows and turning or repositioning patients in their beds
  • Deliver meals to patients and assist with feeding
  • Help patients dress and/or assist with toileting needs
  • Bathe patients
  • Listen to patients' concerns, record them and report them to a nurse 
  • Patient companion when needed

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for caring and supporting others
  • Patient care experience (preferred, not required)
  • Medical terminology knowledge (a helpful plus)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (can be earned after hire)
