Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Control team. This entry-level role is responsible for performing sample analysis, supporting laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform qualitative analysis of samples and accurately record results.

  • Conduct routine laboratory support activities, including

  • Sample collection and preparation

  • Preparation of media, reagents, and standard solutions

  • Cleaning, maintaining, and storing glassware and lab equipment

  • Managing lab supplies and inventory

  • Record data, perform calculations, analyze results, and prepare reports in accordance with quality standards.

  • Perform peer review of data and provide critical evaluation of laboratory systems.

  • Monitor progress and communicate updates to management.

  • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and test schedules.

  • Proactively notify supervisors of equipment or supply needs to prevent delays.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (SOPs, GMPs, QPs).

  • Identify and report out-of-specification (OOS) or atypical results promptly.

  • Follow all safety, health, and hazardous material handling protocols.

  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment to minimize contamination and errors.

  • Assist senior staff with learning advanced lab techniques, instrumentation, and procedures.

  • Support team operations and contribute to special assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred

  • 0–1 year of laboratory experience (entry-level candidates encouraged)
