Job description

True Spice Co. LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Food Safety Technician to support our Quality & Food Safety team in maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards within a dry powder food manufacturing environment. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates interested in building a career in food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing operations.

The Food Safety Technician will assist with daily monitoring, inspections, documentation, and verification activities related to GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, and food safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) inspections in production, packaging, and warehouse areas

- Monitor and document food safety and quality checks (metal detection, sieving, weights, labeling, packaging integrity, etc.)

- Verify and record sanitation and pre-operational inspections

- Assist with environmental monitoring and sample collection

- Support allergen control and cross-contact prevention activities

- Review production and sanitation records for completeness and accuracy

- Assist with traceability exercises, mock recalls, and product holds

- Help investigate and document non-conformances and corrective actions

- Maintain organized food safety documentation and logs

- Support internal audits and regulatory or customer inspections

- Promote a strong food safety culture on the production floor

- Use Safety Chain on the floor.
