FOOD & BEVERAGE AMBASSADOR

Hawaiian Falls Waterparks

Position Summary

Food & Beverage Ambassadors provide friendly, efficient food service to guests throughout the park, including restaurants, kiosks, carts, and specialty food locations. This role focuses on exceptional guest service, accurate order fulfillment, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards.

Essential Functions
  • Greet guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Provide information about food and beverage items, including ingredients, pricing, and promotions.
  • Make recommendations based on guest needs, dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences.
  • Take orders accurately and process transactions using point-of-sale systems.
  • Prepare, serve, and deliver food and beverage items in accordance with company and health department standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and service counters.
  • Follow proper cash-handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Carry vending trays or supplies as assigned.
  • Assist in multiple food service locations and perform additional duties as business needs require.
  • Represent the park professionally by maintaining a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and guest-first mindset.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous food service or cash handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have Pre-employment & Certification Requirements.
  • Willingness to comply with grooming guidelines, safety policies, and employment standards.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required company, legal, and departmental training.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and sun.
  • Ability to bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work around food preparation equipment, hot surfaces, and cleaning chemicals.
Pre-Employment & Certification Requirements

Employment in this position is contingent upon completion of all required pre-employment and ongoing requirements, which may include:

  • Food Handler certification (required for all Food & Beverage team members).
  • Alcoholic Beverage training (required for employees age 18+).
  • Completion of all food safety, responsible vendor, and company training programs.
  • Compliance with all local and state health department regulations. Some certifications may require an external course and fee.
