Floor / Carpet Technician

Schedule - Full Time, Rotating Every Other Weekend, 3pm-11:30pm


We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Floor / Carpet Technician. As a member of the housekeeping department, you are responsible for the daily cleaning of floors and other periodic cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Performs daily cleaning of hard surface floors and carpeted floors in corridors and in other assigned areas following an established schedule and using prescribed methods as outline on work schedule
- Removes trash, recycling and other items from areas and transport it to the correct location
- Assists in the cleaning of emergency spills that are observed or requested.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Learn and apply new skills and techniques related to flooring and carpet installation
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
