Job description

Clean Team, a consolidator of leading specialty cleaning services and contractor services providers across Ohio and the mid-Atlantic region, is recruiting a second shift part-time floating cleaner/floor technician for its rapidly growing platform of diverse client locations.

We are looking for a floating cleaner/floor tech to oversee the operations in Paducah, KY. The goal for this role is to ensure client contracts are met while exceeding expectations and efficiency. A successful floating cleaner/floor technician will have a lead with service attitude and own the outcome regardless of the result.

Shift: Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm **weekend availability required**

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of exam rooms, restrooms, waiting rooms, hallways, and other designated areas within the commercial building
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and common areas
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
  • Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
  • Cleaning and maintaining floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.
  • Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards.
  • Cleans and performs routine maintenance on floor equipment.
  • Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
  • Operates all equipment with care according to facility and manufacturers safety standards and procedures.
  • Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs.
  • Follow all infection prevention practices (i.e., proper cleaning process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions where and if required with proper use of personal Protect Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

  • Experience in various types of floor care required.
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Punctual and reliable attendance record.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 30lbs.
  • Stand for eight or more hours.
  • Ability to squat and bend repetitively.
  • Use a floor buffer, floor stripper, or carpet extractor as needed.
  • Lift 50-75 pounds.
