Job Description

The Student Finance Analyst/Title IV Financial Aid Refund Processor - Refund Team is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely processing of institutional refund and Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations.  In addition, this position requires the timely and accurate reporting of required National Students Loan Data System (NSLDS) data student stipend processing. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Processing institutional refund calculations for withdrawn students.
  • Processing R2T4 calculations for withdrawn students.
  • Enrollment updates in the National Student Loan Data System
  • Processing student stipends for Title IV credit balances.
  • Processing stale-dated checks
  • Maintain accurate data in Anthology and related student information systems.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a business office, banking or accounting environment.
  • Preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience working as a Financial Aid Assistant or Specialist at a higher education institution.
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload based on urgency and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and simple formulas
