Position Description

At RSM, we work with large and small companies in various industries. This role will develop strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses and challenges. This role will work on multiple team engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment - not just one part. Working in a mutually respectful team environment helps our associates perform at their best and integrate their career with their personal life.

Responsibilities
  • Developing an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes
  • Consulting on international tax and transfer pricing planning, documentation and policy implementation
  • Evaluating intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans through detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses for tax and regulatory compliance through the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and various statistical sampling databases
  • Performing industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation, demonstrating an understanding of transfer pricing concepts and method application to cases
Basic Qualifications
  • 90 credit hours completed
  • Working towards a B.A/B.S degree or equivalent from an accredited university Majoring in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or Accounting
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong research and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Minimal travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations, when applicable. Foreign language skills are a plus, but not necessary

Compensation Range: $36 - $43 per hour
