Primary Purpose:
We are hiring for many NDT positions in X-ray, FPI and UT. Qualified candidates applying to this role will have the opportunity to discuss specific roles they are interested in and qualified for. Positions are open at CPP Syracuse which is located in Chittenango, NY and there are openings on a variety of shifts.
Entry level minimum pay is $24.00/hr. Higher starting pay available depending on position, skills and work experience.  Second Shift differential is $2/hr.

What will you do?
Major Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate equipment such as FPI processing line, PSM-5 panels and backlights.
  • Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
  • Responsible for shooting and processing of X-ray film, and/or digital film.
  • Ability to conduct tests and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
  • Ability to work autonomously while verifying castings final wall tolerances meet acceptance criteria per customer specifications.
  • Ability to create Non-conformance documents.
  • Ability to set-up and verify calibration of all Ultrasound equipment including quick checks and veneers.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of quality or inspection experience preferred
  • Certifications/Licenses: Ability to achieve Level II certification
